Meet the Homeprotect experts

Libby is Head of Marketing at Homeprotect, where she is responsible for finding new customers and working closely with the price comparison websites so that we can offer the best possible deal to our customers. She has 12 years experience in financial services across pet, home and car insurance as well as in mortgages and banking. Outside of work, she likes martial arts, films and science fiction novels – and although her degree was in French and Spanish, she spends more time learning phonics now her daughter has started school.

Emma looks after underwriting and has been at Homeprotect for the last 18 months. Emma has 25 years of underwriting experience and has spent most of her career in household insurance and has held a variety of roles within underwriting for companies such as Chubb, Home and Legacy and Sterling (now Covea). In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, crocheting and playing computer games.

Gerry looks after our range of insurance products and is responsible for ensuring that they deliver value for our customers. A long-standing member of the team, Gerry has been with Homeprotect for over 15 years, during which time he has also held roles in our marketing, customer and distribution teams.

Josie looks after brand and communications and has been at Homeprotect for the last two years. Prior to that she held marketing and customer experience roles at a range of transport organisations including one of the UK’s busiest airports. Outside of work, Josie can often be found running around the parks of South West London, usually with her three year old son and working cocker spaniel.

David is Chief Customer Officer at Homeprotect, where he’s responsible for Product, Propositions, Customer Experience, Marketing & Distribution. His leadership of Homeprotect’s Customer and Marketing team is about understanding our customers and finding better ways to deliver what they need, whilst also driving new growth opportunities for Homeprotect. He has previously worked as a Marketing Consultant as well as in-house at Barclays UK and for various e-commerce brands. Outside of work, he enjoys music production, gardening and travel.

Rachel is Homeprotect’s Senior Marketing Executive and is responsible for growing our affiliate and partnership channels to make sure we’re always offering great deals for our customers. Prior to that she worked within a Fintech business as an SEO specialist but moved into her current role to get more experience across other areas of marketing. Her favourite pastime is cooking, although she hasn’t yet mastered the art of homemade sushi.

Emily is the Content and Digital Marketing Executive at Homeprotect, focusing primarily on SEO, social media, and content development. She has a BA in Modern Languages with Business Management, and an MSC in Marketing. Outside of work, she likes crime fiction, cats, and Mexican food.
